ENDOLOGS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

Overview

EndoLogs is a personal procedure log for physicians who perform endoscopy. This policy describes what data the EndoLogs iPhone app and the endologs.com web app handle, and where it lives.

What we store

  • Account data: your email address, a securely hashed password (we never store the password itself), and optional profile details (name, training year, institution).
  • Procedure log data: the procedures you record: type, date, indications, findings, interventions, complications, quality metrics, supervisor and location names, and free-text notes. When you use an EndoLogs account, this data is stored on our servers so it can be available across your devices.
  • Photos stay on your device. If you attach photos to an entry in the iPhone app, they are stored only on your iPhone (and in your personal device backup). Photos are never uploaded to our servers.

No patient information

EndoLogs is a personal case log, not a medical record system, and is not a HIPAA-compliant service. The app is designed to work without any patient identifiers, and you must not enter patient names, record numbers, dates of birth, or other protected health information. That includes free-text fields, notes, or photos.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers; we store only your subscription status and plan.

Email

We send transactional email only: account verification and subscription-related messages. We do not send marketing email and we never sell or share your email address.

Cookies

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. There is no advertising, no analytics trackers, and no third-party ad tech.

Data export and deletion

You can export your full log (CSV and JSON) at any time from the app. To delete your account and all associated server data, contact us at the address below and we will delete it promptly. Data you keep on your device (including photos) is removed by deleting the app.

Children's privacy

EndoLogs is intended for medical professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
